About Guy Voyer |

Born in Paris, Guy Voyer has been traveling the world since he was six months old. Throughout Guy's childhood, his family relocated every couple of years due to the demands of his father's career. His family's frequent moves helped Guy adapt quickly to his new surroundings and make friends throughout France and around the world.
As a child, Guy dreamed of becoming a therapist, physiotherapist, and sports trainer. And Guy worked tirelessly to make his childhood dreams a reality. Guy became a physical education teacher and physiotherapist, as well as a specialist in sports medicine, traumatology, psychological medicine, physical medicine, and manual therapy.
Eventually, however, osteopathy and exercise training techniques research became Guy's true passion.
After studying osteopathic medicine, Guy concentrated his research on fasciae. Today, Guy is one of the few osteopaths who has mastered the treatment of fasciae.
Guy's goal is to pass on his knowledge. To reach this goal, Guy has extensively researched the dissection of the human body and various treatment methodologies. He has also developed and perfected numerous techniques (e.g., ELDOA'S, MFS, 2TLS, GPS, etc.) that can be used in fitness training, overall wellness, and recuperation from various ailments. He has studied the art of teaching and earned a Ph.D. in educational science.
Today, Guy Voyer, DO is a respected leader in his field. He combines his expertise in osteopathic medicine with an extensive background in sports medicine, fitness training, kinesiology, manual therapy, physical education, traumatology, massage therapy, biomechanics, pathophysiology, orthopaedics, diet and nutrition, physical therapy, and medicine.
Dr. Voyer is internationally renowned for his osteopathic expertise. Osteopathy is a science as well as an art. The practice of Osteopathy allows for the restoration of the human body through work on the various tensions that influence the body.
As a result of his extensive studies, Dr. Voyer has developed a number of revolutionary sports and fitness training methods. He also has developed a number of novel approaches to wellness, rehabilitation, and recuperation from imbalances continuously created in the body due to ailments or normal physiological activity. Dr. Voyer has nearly 35 years of experience treating athletes and teaching fitness professionals.
Dr. Voyer's two main areas of study, research, and teaching are: - Osteopathy through the treatment of fasciae, viscera, pelvic axes, hormone chains, pumping, sensory organs, etc. - Applied SomaTraining™ and Applied SomaTherapy™ through physical and sports training based on various techniques such as ELDOA'S, myofascial stretching (MFS), analytical muscle strengthening, targeted proprioception, etc.
